Forge & Foundry is a Leadership College designed to help young adults (ages 18-25) grow deeper in their relationship with God, find freedom from areas in their past, discover their God-designed purpose and make a difference in the world around them.

Education

We aim to help you to develop the mind of Christ. Christian leaders should have strong biblical literacy, academic excellence, and take their time of study seriously. You will learn from the whole bible. You will learn from historical and modern voices in the Church. You will be challenged to think critically and develop a well established, biblical worldview. You will research theological points of agreement among the modern orthodox position as well as addressing cultural hot topics so that we are ready to give an answer when the world asks the question. We are people who love God with all of our minds.

Formation

Your spiritual development is one of our top priorities at Forge and Foundry Leadership College. We set out to come alongside you in a way that facilitates growth in your personal relationship with God, spiritual disciplines, discernment of God’s voice and leading in your life, depth of character, clarity of vision and transformative inner healing. We are people who love God with all of our hearts.

Outreach

As you are trained in theology and ministry development, we have made it a priority to keep your role as servants in the forefront. We exist to serve God, Serve the local church, and serve our communities. Every week we take time to meet practical needs in our community through work projects, spending time in schools, at hospitals, doing yardwork or through intercession. You exist to represent Christ as the servant of many. We are people who love God with all of our strength.

The Leadership College runs from September to May, offering an intensive 9-month journey designed to equip you for a life of ministry or to launch you into the workforce with a strong Biblical foundation. During this time, you’ll immerse yourself in a transformative experience that will challenge and grow you both spiritually and personally. If you give yourself wholly to the process, you will be a completely new person on the other side.

What to Expect

  • As you deepen your understanding of theology and ministry, you’ll also earn college credits through Portland Bible College that can be applied toward your higher education goals. This opportunity allows you to advance your academic journey while being fully engaged in hands-on ministry training.

  • You’ll become part of a tight-knit, intentional community of like-minded peers who are all pursuing the same goal: to grow closer to God and discover His purpose for their lives. This community will support you, challenge you, and walk alongside you as you navigate your journey of faith.

  • We focus on developing your personal leadership skills, helping you to become a confident and capable leader both in ministry and in everyday life. Through practical experiences and leadership training, you’ll learn how to lead with integrity and influence those around you positively.

  • Experience real-life ministry in a dynamic and growing church environment. You’ll have the chance to serve in various ministry areas, from worship and media to outreach and discipleship, gaining invaluable experience that will prepare you for future roles in ministry or other career paths.

  • Grow deeper in your faith through one-on-one discipleship with experienced mentors who will guide you, challenge you, and help you to navigate the complexities of life and ministry. This personalized mentorship is designed to help you grow spiritually and personally.

  • Learn from some of the best in ministry and theology as you sit under the teaching of high-caliber leaders. These leaders will share their wisdom and experiences, providing you with the tools and insights needed to succeed in both ministry and life.

  • Beyond spiritual and theological training, you’ll also gain essential life skills that will help you succeed in all areas of life. From financial management to time ownership, our program equips you with practical tools to manage your resources and responsibilities effectively.

  • Deepen your understanding of Christian doctrine, theology, and Biblical worldview. This solid foundation will not only strengthen your faith but also empower you to articulate and defend your beliefs in any setting.

    Identify and develop your unique spiritual gifts through practical ministry opportunities and guided discovery. Our program is designed to help you understand how God has uniquely equipped you to serve and to empower you to use those gifts for His glory.
